Sputtered Electrolyte‐Gated Transistor with Modulated Metaplasticity Behaviors

چکیده

Electrolyte-gated transistors have been proposed as promising candidates for neuromorphic applications. Synaptic plasticity behaviors and most recently synaptic metaplasticity or of mimicked on electrolyte-gated transistors. In this work, indium-gallium-zinc-oxide thin-film gated with sputtered SiO2 electrolytes are fabricated. Both spiking-width-dependent spiking-height-dependent successfully mimicked. A dielectric-modulated field-effect transistor for biosensing.

Interest in biosensors based on field-effect transistors (FETs), where an electrically operated gate controls the flow of charge through a semiconducting channel, is driven by the prospect of integrating biodetection capabilities into existing semiconductor technology. In a number of proposed FET biosensors, surface interactions with biomolecules in solution affect the operation of the gate or ...

Modulated Modules: Designing Behaviors as Dynamical Systems

A recent development in behavior-oriented robotics is to view behaviors in an agent as coupled dynamical subsystems. When one designs such subsystems a di culty arises. The desired dynamics of the subsystem is likely to become qualitatively disrupted due to the superimposed dynamics of the behavior's interaction with other behaviors and the dynamics of sensor input. A mathematical technique is ...

Capacitance-modulated transistor detects odorant binding protein chiral interactions

Peripheral events in olfaction involve odorant binding proteins (OBPs) whose role in the recognition of different volatile chemicals is yet unclear. Here we report on the sensitive and quantitative measurement of the weak interactions associated with neutral enantiomers differentially binding to OBPs immobilized through a self-assembled monolayer to the gate of an organic bio-electronic transis...

Power-law forgetting in synapses with metaplasticity

The idea of using metaplastic synapses to incorporate the separate storage of longand short-term memories via an array of hidden states was put forward in the cascade model of Fusi et al. In this paper, we devise and investigate two models of a metaplastic synapse based on these general principles. The main difference between the two models lies in their available mechanisms of decay, when a co...
